SANFAMO’s Year of Success At A Glance
In partnership with the PhilDHRRA and in implementing CONVENIO 07-CO-1-031, a core group of enlightened farmers played a pivotal role in identifying potential members, promoting the need for collective actions and defining a collective vision, mission & goals for the benefit of Sta. Juana. On July 21, 2009, the core group registered at the Department of Labor and Employment Bureau of Rural Workers (DOLE-BRW) under the official name of the Sta. Juana Farmers Multi-Purpose Organization or “SANFAMO”. Prior to formally registering as an organization, leaders and officers of SANFAMO underwent a series of seminar workshops for values re-orientation and also to educate them in the different aspects of organizational and project management systems. |
