In partnership with the PhilDHRRA and in implementing CONVENIO 07-CO-1-031, a core group of enlightened farmers played a pivotal role in identifying potential members, promoting the need for collective actions and defining a collective vision, mission & goals for the benefit of Sta. Juana. On July 21, 2009, the core group  registered at the Department of Labor and Employment Bureau of Rural Workers (DOLE-BRW) under the official name of the Sta. Juana Farmers Multi-Purpose Organization or “SANFAMO”.

Prior to formally registering as an organization, leaders and officers of SANFAMO underwent a series of seminar workshops for values re-orientation and also to educate them in the different aspects of organizational and project management systems.

The Philippine Partnership for the Development of Human Resources in Rural Areas in Mindanao (PhilDHRRA-Mindanaw) convened its 45TH Regional Assembly on 25 – 26 March 2010 at D’ Leonor Hotel in Bajada, Davao City.   Highlighting the theme ““Strengthening Adaptive Capacities and Responses to Climate Change and Vulnerabilities to Disaster”, the network hopes to build on its past gains to start with the right foot on embarking appropriate measures responding to the challenges on climate change. On the 25th of August 2009, TOUCH Foundation commemorates its 23rd founding anniversary with founders, colleagues and partners in development work at their new office located at 2nd Floor, Rodriguez Building Pabayo corner Hayes Street, Cagayan de Oro City.
