Since Typhoon Sendong hit northern Mindanao in mid December, 2011, PhilDHRRA-Mindanao Member NGOs have been hard at work supporting the disaster relief efforts of the DSWD and other national agencies, providing relief supplies and services to the hardest hit areas of northern Mindanao.

You can now participate directly in the PhilDHRRA-Mindanao Typhoon Sendong Relief efforts by offering Gift Giving Donations through this website.

All donations received will go directly to support the relief efforts in northern Mindanao, especially the areas around Cagayan de Oro City and Iligan City.

Donations of cash are required now, to purchase and transport urgently needed medical, clothing and food supplies. Over the coming months Gift-giving donations will be required to fund relocation projects for residents and rehabilitation projects to restore and protect the agricultural land, so that it may once again become viable and sustaining.
