TOUCH Foundation Celebrates 23rd Founding Anniversary
An Office blessing ceremony followed right after the mass. The blessing is a religious ritual intended to protect the occupants of the office from misfortune which takes in the form of a prayer. This is also known as house cleansing and space clearing. Significantly, this is also TOUCH way of doing a perfect way of starting a new beginning in a new office that is certified flood-free area with a new project to undertake. The previous office location is a flood-prone area, as the staffs have experienced several flooding which affected several files and office equipments. For TOUCH workers, the kind of ritual hopes to invoke harmony, and a place of peace and a home to recharge and renew. Right after the ritual, BOT Mariss G. Velasco expressed her gratitude to the celebrant as well as to the invited visitors for coming over in joining TOUCH celebrating its thanksgiving for another year of success of the organization. The celebration ended with a sumptuous lunch prepared by the staff.

On the 25th of August 2009, TOUCH Foundation commemorates its 23rd founding anniversary with founders, colleagues and partners in development work at their new office located at 2nd Floor, Rodriguez Building Pabayo corner Hayes Street, Cagayan de Oro City. The celebration was started with a mass officiated by Fr. Ricardo “Cacards” Pagatpatan, from the Social Action- Ecology desk of the archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro.
