The MOFECO Cooperative Training Center was newly renovated early this year. The renovation was financially supported by COOP NATCCO party list amounting to P400,000.00. Said amount was a reward to MOFECO awarded by COOP NATCCO in gratitude of its unwavering support and active involvement in the electoral campaign of COOP NATCCO party list in the province of Misamis Occidental in the last election.

The purpose of the renovation is to provide a good training facility and services conducive to learning of coop affiliates and other clients. The renovation is expected to contribute in the over-all improvement of the cooperative development services extended to clients. On the other hand, the center also serves as promotion and advocacy center on MOFECO’s Coop development initiatives in Misamis Occidental. And thus will also serve as campaign facility of COOP NATCCO partylist in the coming electoral campaign in 2010.

Upon completion of the renovated training facility, a facility policy standard will be set by the management and board defining a mechanism of making the center an income generating initiative of MOFECO. The objective was to generate funds in sustaining its administrative and operational costs of the organization. The renovation of the training facility is expected to end before their Cooperative General Assembly will be convened on the last week of April 2009.
